Being a trans woman isn't any easier, I mean the hormone shift alone would be extremely taxing on your psyche. Especially since you're not necessarily experiencing any gender euphoria from being a woman - you just don't feel like a man. You do realize that you'll have to consistently take the hormones, and if you get bottom surgery you'll need to consistently maintain your new "vagina"? I'd recommend you look up examples of existing sex reassignment surgery (SRS) results... It might put you off of the idea. A hole that needs constant care and seeps pus may not be any better than a ruined penis. You can also remove the penis and remain a male for all intents and purposes, just treat the issue rather than create a new one.
