I've been talking to this American girl all night, trying to explain to her how to pronounce certain Norwegian letters. I thought this may come in handy in here:
Ø - Like when you say: "Ehmmm" The sound you start to pronounce "Ehm" with. So I could basically type: "øøøø" instead of "ehmm". The sound Bevis (Or Butthead) says all the time.
Æ - Like when "gangsters" say "Ai'ght" as in "All right". The "ai" sound. No, SCREAM!! The sound of your scream is most likely to be a(n) "Æ"
Å - Like in "ohhh" [Amazed/Stunned]
Feel very free to add to this list. I will add some common phrases and words with their respectively pronounciation later on. Words/Phrases will also be added on request.
