OK, this program modifies your ARP table so your upstream limit goes bye bye.
How to do it:
Step 1: Get your LAN info.
Under Windows 9x run 'winipcfg', remember your external IP, subnet mask and gateway.
Under Windows NT/2K run 'ipconfig /all' in a DOS box, remember your external IP, subnet mask and gateway.
Step 2: Make your IP static.
/* If you already disabled DHCP you can skip this step. */
For Windows 9x:
Right-click 'network neighborhood' and choose 'properties'.
Highlight the TCP/IP protocol and click properties.
Fill in your IP, subnet and gateway. (Gateway is on another tab).
Also fill in your DNS-servers (UPC: 62.108.1.66 and 62.108.1.65)
Apply and reboot.
For Windows NT/2K:
You should know how to do this, otherwise you are too stupid to run NT/2K.
Step 3: Get the MAC-adress of your cablemodem.
It's on the bottom of the thing. Something like "0000ca1200c9".
Format it like this: "00-00-ca-12-00-c9".
Step 4: Run the program.
Enter the cablemodems MAC-adress, a new gateway IP and your own IP.
With 'a new gateway IP' I don't mean the one you remembered in step 1,
but a NEW one. The new one shouldn't be used, so use a private adress like "10.10.10.0".
When you've entered all, click "DO IT!". (It'll save the settings too.)
Step 5: Change your gateway IP.
Now all you have to do is change your gateway IP (see step 2) to the one
you've made up in step 4. Be sure to remove the old one from the list.
How to install the AUTOLOADER:
Copy the .DLL file in your CWINDOWS\SYSTEM directory (CWINNT\SYSTEM32\ for NT/2k)
and put the AUTOLOADER.EXE in your startup group. (Or a shortcut to the program).
AUTOLOADER will read the settings form FUCKUPC and apply them again.
Have a 'uploadin'" time!

Noen som har prøvd denne? Fikk den ikke til å funke selv iallefall..
Eller er det bare noe kødd? Riktignok er den gammel, men alikevel
