Hi
We are a group from the Netherlands who are planning to visit Norway some time in may.
We want to make a 5 day hike, 4 nights, where we walk for 5 days in nature only. Preferably it would be somewhere around 3-5 hours driving away from Oslo. Is it a realistic time schedule if we want to see a fjord? And where would you recommend to travel to see the best of norwegian nature?
Best regards
You should have a look at this site, tells you everything you need to know.
Visit norway
In my opinion as mentioned earlier, Oslo is not where you should start from.
If you would like to see fjords, I would recommend
Geirangerfjorden or
Hardangerfjorden, but that's like 7-8 Hours with car from Oslo.
All the fjords are beautiful and unique in their own way.
There is a lot to see of Norway's nature, some of my personal favorites are the western fjords, the archipelago of
Lofoten and wast wilderness of the mountains.
I think maby
Jotunheimen could be something for you, check it out. that's like 5-6 Hours drive by car.
Enjoy!
